As a SAG-AFTRA Indian American Actor I told my agent that I would like to get my break playing an Attorney role on a procedural drama TV Show. In real life I like wearing a suit, dress shirt, and tie. People in the industry perceive that I'm practicing law. Right now it's way too difficult for an Indian male to get a lead role as a Superhero in a Hollywood film or as a Series Regular on a Procedural Drama TV Show. It only happens when the script demands it, which is rare, but in the next five years there could be a lot of Indian presence in the Hollywood Film Industry and on Procedural Drama TV Shows. The perception of India has changed in the cinema world. Previously India was thought to be full of snake charmers and saints practicing divine yoga in The Himalayas. Indians have begun the initiation process playing a lead role in a Superhero Hollywood film and on Procedural Drama TV Shows.
